What can I say about this band....

WOW!

Here we have a compilation album that features Early EP releases by the band In The Nursery.
In The Nursery was formed in Sheffield, England in 1981. The trio originally tagged along with the industrial scene in the UK, releasing the mini-LP When Cherished Dreams Come True in June 1983. Following their debut release they released a 7" single entitled "Witness (To A Scream)" and a 12" EP entitled "Sonority" which was released on Douglas P. of the wonderful Death In June's Label "New European Recordings".
All the releases that were mentioned above are on this compilation. All of the tracks on this compilation capture the bands early sound which consists of heavy melodic bass, concert-like percussion, great vocals and a classic melodic post-punk guitar sound. After the first two releases the band took a slightly different direction and moved into a heavy cinematic based sound. To this day they have provided soundtracks to a variety of television programs and films. They are also known for their rescoring of classic silent films.

This compilation is a very good starting point if you wish to explore the amazing world of In The Nursery.

Gerechtigkeits Liga- Hypnotischer Existenzialismus (1985)

Mix the driving rhythms of SPK's second album "Leichenschrei" with the raw energy of Einsturzende Neubauten's "Zeichnungen des patienten O. T." and the electronic mayhem of Throbbing Gristle's "D.o.A" album and what do you have? You have Gerechtigkeits Liga's 1985 debut LP "Hypnotischer Existenzialismus". Gerechtigkeits Liga was formed in 1981, up until their first LP they released ten cassette tapes and one 12" EP. This LP is a must for anyone who loves industrial music with great rhythm treatments and hypnotic ovetones. The album consists of many studio recorded tracks as well as some cool live tracks.
I highly recommend this album, Gerechtigkeits Liga is mind blowing.  

Chrome Half Machine Lip Moves (1979)

This is such a great album. It offers an amazing futuristic sound. Proto-punk elements with a heavy krautrock sound being filtered through an industrial lens is one way to describe it. Chrome were certainly great innovators at the time, they inspired many industrial groups of the early 80's and they definitely took the early 70's punk sound and blew it out of the water!
